Fran Biscotti - Open Lines Coaching - Neurodivergent Somatic Coaching

"Hi, my name is Francesca Biscotti, but please call me Fran!

Once upon a time, I was doing exactly what you may be doing right now —

searching for a Neurodivergent Somatic Coach who truly understood both

the neurodivergent experience and the nervous system.

After being diagnosed as an autistic adult with a PDA profile and ADHD,

I began searching for answers, guidance, and support to help me make sense of my

brain, body, emotions, and life.

At the same time, I found myself navigating a deeply challenging season of grief and

flashbacks.

Through that journey, I learned something that profoundly changed the way I

understand healing: The body stores more than the brain can always make sense of.

At that point in my life, I needed:

  • a neurodivergent coach who understood my nervous system and trauma,

  • and a neurodivergent counsellor who understood both my brain and my body.

I also realised how difficult it can be to find people who truly understand the intersection between neurodivergence and trauma.

So I became the person I had once been searching for.

For years, I worked as a Neurodivergent Coach, helping clients better understand their nervous systems. While we saw meaningful progress, I began to notice a common thread: many people were carrying underlying trauma.

I realised that to truly support my clients, I needed to hold space for more than just their present and future. I needed to understand the experiences their bodies had been holding for years.

That realisation led me to train as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Trauma-Informed Somatic Counsellor.

Today, I specialise in supporting people at the intersection of a neurodivergent brain and a traumatised nervous system.

My mission is to offer a safe, compassionate space where people can better understand themselves, reconnect with their nervous systems, and — if and when they choose — gently explore deeper healing at their own pace.

My approach is entirely client-centred. I begin with you, your story, your nervous system, and your unique lived experience — because no two people are the same.

Some of my core Character Strengths are love, humour, hope, honesty, curiosity, bravery, and a deep love of learning.

*And I have a feeling you may notice that love of learning in the sections below!

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES:

I graduated with a Foundation Degree in Early Years and a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Special Needs and Inclusive Practice.

I studied at ADDCA in New York (an ICF and PAAC accredited programme) and obtained the AACC Certified ADHD and Life Coach Accreditation. In March 2025, I achieved the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I am a Trauma-Informed Somatic Counsellor, Polyvagal-Informed Coach, ICO Registered practitioner, and hold an updated DBS certificate.

My work is deeply informed by somatic practice, nervous system regulation, Polyvagal Theory, and trauma-informed approaches. I continue to expand my learning through ongoing study in areas such as Somatic EMDR, Somatic Parts Work, Focusing, and Felt Sense.

As an autistic and ADHD practitioner with lived experience, I am especially passionate about neurodivergence, sensory processing differences, co-regulation, self-regulation, the vagus nerve, and the connection between the brain and body.

Over the years, I have worked with clients from all over the world and from many different walks of life, including creatives, artists, students, teachers, and healthcare professionals.

I also have over 15 years of experience supporting families, including 8 years working within Special Educational Needs.

My professional background includes working in education as a Key Worker, SENCO, Deputy Manager, and 1:1 Support Learning Assistant within Early Years and Primary School settings.

I have delivered groups and interventions including Attention Autism (“The Bucket”), Zones of Regulation, and sibling support groups for children aged 2–10 years old. I also worked within Children and Family Centres, where I delivered the SEND playgroup “Somewhere to Belong.”

In addition, I have provided training within schools, nurseries, workplaces, and charities across both the UK and Italy.

I also worked within the NHS as a Play Specialist supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and complex needs. During this time, I contributed to Autism diagnostic assessments, prepared play reports for EHCPs (Educational Health and Care Plans), and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary professionals including Speech and Language Therapists (SALTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physiotherapists, Educational Psychologists, Paediatricians, and Social Workers.

I speak both English and Italian fluently and offer services in both languages.
